The Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber is a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue. Just steps to Waikiki Beach, the property is adjacent to the open air International Marketplace (a greatplace for souvenirs) and across the street from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, home to multi-culturaldining and designer boutiques.
This older property was recently taken over by the Outrigger/Ohana hotel chain and has recentlyundergone a multi-million dollar renovation of all rooms, guest corridors and elevators. The WaikikiBeachcomber has a well trained staff, impressive service and is a perfect, family friendly spot for thosewho want a clean, well run hotel with reasonable prices and a great location.
The hotel features an impressive package of complimentary amenities, including internet access, localand long distance phone calls to the Continental U.S. and Canada (first 15 minutes free), in-room safe,in-room coffee daily, local newspaper, digital pagers for early check-in guests and passes for all guestsin the room (up to 5 days) on the Waikiki Trolley's Pink Line that goes throughout Waikiki and to AlaMoana Shopping Center.
For guests that arrive before the normal 3 p.m. check-in time, the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber hasluggage storage available, as well as hospitality rooms for late departures. There are also ADAaccessible rooms and Hearing Impaired Rooms with a TDD machine.

The Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber just completed a multi-million dollar renovation of all their rooms witha wonderful palette of tropical hues and sandstone, great compliments to the property's ocean views. Theair conditioned guestrooms have enhanced custom bedding, dark alder and cherry hardwood furnishings,artwork and private lanais.
Room amenities include 32-inch flat screen TV, alarm clock/radio with MP3 player, voice mail,refrigerator, in-room safe, coffee/tea maker with complimentary coffee and tea, newspapers delivered tothe room, iron/board, hairdryer and more. Children 17 years and younger are free when staying withparents and using existing bedding.
The hotel is home to the wonderful Magic of Polynesia, featuring Hawaii's own well known illusionist,John Hirokawa. Located on the lobby level, the 700-seat theater was specifically designed for hiselectrifying displays. Shows are on Tuesday through Saturday with dinner and show or show only seating. The property's Hibiscus Café has been closed and work has begun on the new 400-seat Jimmy Buffett'sat the Beachcomber's restaurant and showroom, scheduled to open in early 2009.
