The ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset is a very nice condominium located on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki. An all-suite hotel, each one- or two-bedroom unit features private bedrooms, complete kitchens, furnished lanai and can sleep up to six people. The suites feature stunning views of Honolulu's city lights, Diamond Head or the Pacific Ocean. While not on the beach, it is a very short walk to Kapiolani Park, home to the Honolulu Zoo, Aquarium, the Bandstand, tennis and much more. It's also just a short walk to Queen's Surf Beach, where free movies are shown once or twice a month, weather permitting.

The suites are spacious and perfect for a family or a group of friends. Newly remodeled, the suites are nicely decorated in island décor including rattan furniture and tropical colors. Up to 2 children per room who are 12 years and younger are elegible for the ResortQuest Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free, which includes coupons for free meals and free admission to attractions with a paying adult and discounts on merchandise. They also receive an inflatable beach ball upon check-in. Amenities include full kitchens with cookware and dishes, washers and dryers in the building, clock radio, coffee/tea maker, Cable TV, direct dial phone with data port, hair dryer, complimentary newspapers delivered to the room and more.

The ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset has an on-site sundry store selling groceries and toiletries, a lighted tennis court, heated swimming pool, sauna and outdoor barbeque grills for their guests use. Close your eyes and pictue yourself grilling steaks on the barbeque, enjoying the pool and looking out to the Pacific Ocean as the sun sets. How much better can it get?

This is a great place for families at a very reasonable price. You can have your casual meals for breakfast and lunch at the condo, then try out some of the great restaurants such as Tiki's Grill & Bar, Duke's, The Cheesecake Factory and Cheeseburger in Paradise, to mention a few, all nearby. Or pack up a picnic dinner and head to the beach to watch the sunset and the fireworks that take place every Friday evening at the other end of Waikiki.

The ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset has a lot of return visitors and reviews are usually positive. It is a very well maintained building and while some of the furniture might be slightly dated, the rooms are clean and the staff are great.
